Project Statement

この作品は、空間と身体の関係性を通じて、私たちがどのように世界と向き合い、そこに存在しているのかを問いかける試みです。このシリーズでは、特定の空間に身を置き、踊りを通じてその場に新たな意味を生み出すダンサーの存在を捉えています。彼の動きは、空白から空間を形作り、たわみやズレ、霞や途切れといった視覚的・触覚的な要素を通じて、私たちが普段意識しない感覚領域を刺激します。

ダンサーの身体は直線的な動きと曲線的な流れが交錯することで、空間そのものを詩的な形で再構築します。その姿は、私自身の存在やアイデンティティ、そして私たちがどのように世界と関わっているのかという問いを映し出す鏡でもあります。また、彼の動きは一箇所に留まることなく次々と新しい空間へと移動し、その中で無限の可能性を秘めた詩的な空間を創造します。

この作品は現実世界の枠組みを超え、異質で新しい視点を提示することを目指しています。観る人がその空間と身体との対話を通じて、自身の存在や世界との関係性について再考するきっかけとなることを願っています。

My work explores the relationship between space and the body, questioning how we engage with the world and exist within it. In this series, I capture the presence of a dancer who places themselves in specific spaces, creating new meanings through movement. Their gestures shape space from emptiness, evoking visual and tactile sensations such as distortion, shifts, haze, and fragmentation—stimulating sensory realms that we often overlook.

The dancer’s body reconstructs space poetically by intertwining linear movements with flowing curves. Their presence acts as a mirror, reflecting questions about my own identity, existence, and how we relate to the world around us. Furthermore, their movements transcend fixed locations, continuously transitioning into new spaces and generating poetic realms filled with infinite possibilities.

This work aims to go beyond the boundaries of the tangible world, offering viewers a fresh and unfamiliar perspective. I hope it inspires audiences to reconsider their own existence and their relationship with the world through a dialogue between space and the body.
